Child Soldiers

In social studies we are looking at types of child labor. At the moment we are looking at child soldiers. if you don't know a child soldier is usually a soldier that is under 18. They are usually recruited/forced into fighting for rebel groups are usually offered benefits such as food, water, shelter, etc, in return for volunteering for joining armed forces.
Below is a map labeling places with high rates of child soldiers.

Child soldiers are used throughout Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia. Children are typically used as they are easier to manipulate, more fit, and easy to kidnap. Because of this their human rights are often used against them by being told to choose between food, shelter, and fighting or not fighting and getting an education but no food. Human rights is constantly used against and taken away from children and even though some armed groups are releasing child soldiers it'll be a long time until they are all free.
