A little thing I did in writing

I walk into the bathroom and look into the mirror. “JESUS CHRIST GREG WE'VE TALKED ABOUT THIS. USE THE GODDAMN WHITEBOARD MAKER”. Out behind the shower curtain a black winged creature with the darkest eyes you have ever seen with black cloth hanging around his body, long arms and legs and claws as fingernails - His name…...greg. He’s my demon. You see everyone has a demon assigned to them for what reasons I don’t know, greg - my demon - is an idiot. You see Greg leaves me reminders. In blood.  Today it said ‘Don’t forget lunch with Janice @ 2pm =)’. I don’t even know where he gets the blood from. “WELL I'M SORRY HAIRON THAT I WANT TO FINISH MY SUPPLY OF BLOOD THANK YOU VERY MUCH” He yells back at me.

In art we are creating stencils that must be about us and include our name. I did one themed around an anti-possession symbol. I enjoy supernatural things and the TV show supernatural and as I have to include my name I have put at every point of the pentagram a letter of my name-Molly-in flaming letters and in the gaps I have put smaller flames.

Dear Foodstuffs

My name is Molly Noven and I’m a year 7 student at Hornby High School. We are studying sustainability and need to do a social action somehow. I have chosen to write to you to ask you to stop selling products with microbeads in them. Microbeads are those small plastic beads that are in face scrubs, body washes and many other things. Microbeads affect the environment by going down the bathroom or kitchen sink and into the ocean. Fish will then most likely view microbeads as food, eat them and then choke on the microbead. Sometimes the fish don’t die and you might eat that fish which means you might have microbeads in you. You sell a few products with microbeads in them and I ask you to stop selling them as they are damaging the environment. Microbeads are sometimes labelled as microplastics, polyethylene or polypropylene. Some products that have microbeads include Clearasil, Dove, Garnier, Olay and many more. I think I have achieved because I have explained why they need to stop selling microbeads and what products contain it. I have sent this to Foodstuffs and is just waiting for a reply (if that ever happens).

Book review - Magnus Chase and the sword of summer

Magnus Chase and the sword of summer is the first book in a new series of books by Rick Riordan. It's about a boy named Magnus Chase discovering that he's a demigod of the Norse god Frey. I really enjoyed this book as it contains lots of diversity including a Muslim girl and a deaf elf. I also enjoy references to previous books also written by Rick Riordan. Its a book for everyone really, it's got puns, mythology, diversity, and will keep you on the edge of your seat with all the plot twists. I would definitely erase memory of reading this book just to read it again. I give it a 10/10, would read a again and again and again. Unfortunately I am unable to get a picture of the cover

Water Sustainability Questions

Q.1 What might happen to our waterways if we don't fix pollution and kept polluting?

• We would probably die which is a bit of a problem 
• Small sea animals would die which would cause medium ones to die which would cause larger ones to die which can cause multiple land animals to die then we might die all because the water was still polluted and the smaller sea animals couldn't eat because the plantation died. 

Q.2 What would the next people have to deal with?

• The next people  would most likely have to A)Move to another planet, B) find another water source, C) have a massive clean up or D) Accept and die
• Maybe no animals to eat (unless you are a veterinarian or vegan) and if there are no animals then stuff would most likely stop growing and we would die

Q.3 How many charities are there and are they working?

• There are around 60 that have something to do with water that I can find that I may list (future me hasn't decide) 
• Charity:Water is a popular one but there are a lot of bad things being written about there 100% profit thing.
• I'm gonna guess there working as I couldn't get a straight answer

I think that this has been achieved in LO1 because I have shown the possibilities of what might happen in the future if we don't save the our waterways clearly and independently

This has met achieved LO2 as I have shown how this is affecting  sea life independently

Dear Dad,

Please, just give me a chance. Just let me have a chance to prove you that I can do something else. I could carve wood and you can sell them under your name. It’s so dull here. I never get any sleep. I’m considered a curse, mutant even a monster. I feel disconnected from you and the world. I’ve been in here almost all my life. I want to know what it’s like to have friends. I’m so lonely. Just…… please… help me. I don’t belong here. The longer I’m here the more I wish to end my life. No more suffering if I just died. Nobody would care. You only care about your money. Like I don’t even matter……… I probably don’t. Just please let me live…I promise that I can make a change for the both of us.

A freak show is where if you look different then you are considered a freak and can make money in a freak show. The little boy is trying to convince his Father to let him do anything but be in a freak show.
